Concepción Cascajosa, director of the Observatorio de Igualdad de RTVE, and Carmen Domínguez, director of Mikado Media Productions, close the "II Encuentro RAMPA" with a webinar dedicated to television

The last session of the "II RAMPA Professional Meeting on the Audiovisual Industry" will be dedicated to women professionals in television and will feature two exceptional guests. Concepción Cascajosa, current president of RTVE's Equality Observatory, will share a webinar with Carmen Domínguez, an experienced content and programme director with more than 20 years of experience.

Concepción Cascajosa Virino will explain her duties as President of RTVE's Equality Observatory and the measures and proposals that RTVE is implementing to promote the visibility of women in the television industry.
Our guest, who has always been a "couch potato", studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of Seville, where she graduated and obtained her PhD with an Extraordinary Prize in 2005. A year later, after an international scholarship, she joined the Department of Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where she has been a full professor since 2012.
In 2021 she took over the direction of the department. From 2014 to April 2021 she was Vice-Dean of the Double Degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication and has also directed the Master in Film and TV Scriptwriting UC3M / ALMA.
She has been a member of the UC3M Equality Committee and of the Academic Committee of the Master's Degree in Applied Media Research and is co-author of the UC3M guide to image processing in equality. Author of several books on audiovisual media and fiction series, she has been a contributor to Serielizados, Fotogramas, the newspaper El País and Fuera de Series Media.
In July 2021 she was appointed president of the Observatory of Equality of RTVE and is currently Professor of Audiovisual Communication and Director of the Department of Communication at the University Carlos III of Madrid.
Carmen Domínguez Penelas holds a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and began her work in television at TVE.
In 1990 she joined Antena 3 as Assistant Manager of Entertainment Programmes, later becoming Deputy Director of Fiction Programmes and in 1996 she returned to TVE as Director of New Projects and International Co-productions. At Vía Digital she was Director of Premium Channels and between 2000 and 2006 she was Vice-President of the Television Academy.
Later she entered the world of production as Director of Programmes at BRB Internacional, as Director of Contents at the Ganga Group and as Managing Director of New Atlantis, within the Secuoya Group. She is currently Managing Director of the production company Mykado Media Productions.
